The Matrix community, as far as I see it, is in quite grave danger because it's September, and if we don't stop this bleeding it's going to be, well, Eternal September.

So in this blog post, I talk about the countermeasures to make sure the Matrix community has a chance at not drowning and killing the viability of the protocol in the process for our purposes.

I see this pattern time and time again where communities do moderation wrong. Instead of following helpful patterns like what is laid out in my post about the words we use and why they are bad they are stuck in these ancient bad patterns.

In this blog post I go into how communities get into this pattern and what those who avoided it did differently.

Talking about moderation in an actually useful way is shockingly hard with current language that the mainstream uses. This makes talking about how to do this job right a lot harder. So, this post is dedicated to Cat talking about how to talk about this topic in an actually useful manner as far as Cat is concerned.

This blog post deals with "the description problem" that I have with some of the words I encounter when people try to assign a label to what Cat is.
